Point taken that the Tea Party had enormous robber baron financial, media and political backing that made its ability to obstruct much easier. That said, I believe you’re too quick to dismiss and condemn Indivisible, which does more than make phone calls and attend Town Halls and has now set up Indivisible435.org to help flip Congress. Your critique of Indivisible would be more powerful if it weren’t framed at an attack against very well-meaning and committed people who are doing what they can. Many of them would be happy to engage in CD if offered the opportunity. Your scolding, know-it-all, holier-than-thou tone is off-putting and counterproductive if your goal is to encourage Indivisible to step up its game.
